Scaffolding collapses on correction bus; prisoners extracted, driver injured in Brooklyn

Scaffolding collapsed onto a correction bus transporting city prisoners in Brooklyn on Thursday. 
FDNY and News 12 were on the scene and can confirm that two people, in custody,  were extracted from the back of the bus. 
The driver was also extracted by FDNY and was seen with a brace around his neck. 
The incident happened just after 5 p.m. on Jay Street near New York City College of Technology. 
Police say the driver lost control of the bus and crashed into the scaffolding which caused it to collapse. 
The two prisoners were unharmed and walked away unhurt. They were taken to a nearby facility.
