School Chancellor Dennis Walcott visted schools in The Bronx that participate in the new educational program, 'Summer Quest,' today.
News 12 The Bronx spoke with Walcott at the Port Morris School, where he was addressed first-year students of the program. According to the Department of Education's website, the aim of the program is to help children keep up with their studies during summer vacation.
Walcott also spoke at the Lorraine Hansberry Academy and the Urban Assembly School for Applied Math and Science.
