Attorneys presented their closing arguments Wednesday in the retrial of two men accused in the kidnapping, rape and murder of a Brooklyn woman.
Kayson Pearson and Troy Hendrix deny their involvement in the 2003 murder of 21-year-old Ramona Moore, who attended Hunter College, and another alleged attack on a 15-year-old. The co-defendants have pointed the finger at each other. A mistrial was declared in January after Pearson stabbed one of his own lawyers and Hendrix tried to wrestle a gun away from a guard during a courtroom escape attempt.
The jury reached a verdict for one of the defendants Wednesday, but the court will not release the information until a decision is reached on the other defendant.
