The Bed-Stuy fire that killed two people Tuesday night has been deemed suspicious by authorities, who say they are now investigating the deaths as homicides.
Police say 47-year-old Stanley Wilkie was the second person to die as a result of the fire that broke out at 103 Hancock St.
Wilkie was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, but police say he died Wednesday of his injuries.
Another person in the house, 56-year-old Tyrone Corely, also died. Two women are listed in stable condition as a result of the fire, which erupted at around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say they found accelerants at the scene.
