Frank Seddio was elected last night to replace Vito Lopez as the Kings County Democratic Party chairman after Lopez resigned from the post over sexual harassment allegations.
Some Assembly leaders expressed concern over Seddio?s past as a surrogate court judge. He resigned shortly after taking the bench amid allegations he donated thousands of dollars to Democratic leaders before assuming the post. However, Seddio says Brooklyn Democrats can expect nothing but great work and honesty from him.
Seddio pledged to create a cabinet of leaders within the party, who would represent various ethnic and religious groups.
