Making plans this weekend? Here's a few events and activities happening Saturday and Sunday in Brooklyn.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority wants to hire 2,000 bus operators, so the agency is hosting a hiring event in Brooklyn at 130 Livingston St. on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Make sure to bring a resume. Click here for more details.
There will be a festival at Fort Greene Park Conservancy filled with family-friendly activities for all ages Saturday at 11 a.m.
The NYC Runs Brooklyn half-marathon is happening Sunday. This run takes you around the waterfront and under the historic Williamsburg, Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges. The race finishes in Prospect Park. There is a registration fee and prizes for the winners.
