Sen. Dennis Bradley says that COVID-19 will top the agenda of state lawmakers when they reconvene in Hartford this week.
He says they'll be focused on securing emergency federal funding to keep critical supplies flowing into Connecticut.
"We are doing a very nuanced way of approaching this to ensure that we can continue to get federal funding when it comes to food and other necessities from the federal government. This is something that's going to make sure we can protect families and ensure that every person in Connecticut can continue to tap into benefits when they are affected by COVID or their loved one," Bradley says.
He says he hopes for bipartisan support for legislative initiatives focused on easing the effects of the pandemic on local residents.
