Bronx residents got the chance on Monday to ask Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand about their concerns in a town hall at Hostos Community College. 

News 12’s Kurt Semder joined Gillibrand at the town hall as she answered questions on gun violence, monkeypox vaccines, education, housing and more.  

Gillibrand says she values these chances to hear directly from her constituents.  

"To be here at this community college is so important because it's the centerpiece of this community," said Gillibrand. "I hear directly from my constituents, and I can do a better job as their senator."
