Some seniors are calling on the Parks Department to accommodate what they say is a growing interest in pickleball in Marine Park.
Some say they play at Dr. John's Playground in Marine Park, but they have to set up their own nets and lay down their own markings on the court -- and they say the Parks Department picks up after they leave.

The Parks Department tells News 12 that it does have plans to paint the pickleball courts near the playground this fall, and says all other requests are under consideration at this time.
