Seniors rallied in Park Slope and demanded that all votes across the country must be counted in the 2020 election.
The group held up signs and played music while calling for the ballot counting to continue in what has been a heated and historic race to the White House.
Organizers tell News 12 that there has been a lot of activism happening across the country and that it has been difficult for seniors to participate due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"Seniors can't go to those events. We have all kinds of underlying conditions, by the time we made it there, we'd be exhausted, and we would want to turn back. The message is that we have to stay active politically no matter how old we get because we have to protect the country,” said organizer Irene Lore.
