Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Joe Martucci says strong-to-severe storms are heading to New Jersey on Monday as the extreme heat finally breaks.
MONDAY:  The day starts off sunny becoming partly cloudy with summer-like storms and showers in the afternoon/evening. Storms come in near 4 p.m. and may influence rush-hour traffic. But, thank you, cold front.
Storms may bring gusty conditions, isolated tornados, hail and significant downpours. Localized flooding possible. Highs near 90. Lows near 74. 
TUESDAY: Significantly cooler day with sun and more clouds. Highs near 87. Lows near 70.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs near 88. Lows near 74. 
THURSDAY: Sunshine again followed by afternoon summer-like storms through evening. Highs near 88. Lows near 74.
