Sewanhaka High School changes mascot to Ravens

The Sewanhaka District Board of Education has approved and announced the new mascot for Sewnahaka High School.
In a statement, the Sewanhaka District Director of Athletics said the mascot is now the Sewanhaka Ravens.
As News 12 has reported, board members approved spending $3,000 to pay a consultant to help rebrand the "Indian" mascot at Sewanhaka High School.
The mascot change comes after a yearlong process.
