Shark River Channel to be closed to boat traffic for Route 71 bridge repairs

The Shark River Channel is closing all boat traffic next week so that crews can work on the Route 71 bridge in Monmouth County.
The river under the bridge will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

The span goes from Belmar to Avon-by-the-Sea.
