Sheepshead Bay residents are experiencing serious water woes, with runoff bubbling from underneath the street. Officials with the Department of Environmental Protection say the water spilling onto Bedford Avenue is the result of a broken service line belonging to a nearby homeowner. Some who live in the area say they originally thought a water main break was the culprit. DEP representatives say they served a three-day notice to the property owner last Friday, and that they plan to follow up with an inspection tomorrow.
