Shop owners in Bay Ridge are in an uproar because of an inordinate amount of tickets they say have been handed out around their businesses recently.
The entrepreneurs say customers are afraid to stop and frequent their stores for fear of getting a parking ticket.
A local councilman says he will launch an effort to limit what local residents are calling "predatory ticketing."
