Eager shoppers headed out early to Brooklyn stores for deep discounts on Black Friday.
Despite the bad economy, stores were packed with shoppers searching for the perfect gifts and big bargains. Many waited in line for up to five hours at area stores such as Target and Circuit City.
Among the big-ticket items people were shopping for were laptop computers, televisions, cameras and iPods. Others were picking up clothing items and toys.
