With the weather getting warmer, Bronx shoppers are being urged to take advantage of their neighborhood farmer's market.
The marts are designed to bring fresh produce and other homemade goods from local rural areas to more urban communities.
Experts say the markets are not only good for the economy, but are also a healthy choice because products are picked at peak ripeness when they have the most nutritional value.
