Shots were fired Friday morning outside a Coney Island school.
Police responded to P.S. 288 around 11 a.m., and found two shell casings in the courtyard. Sources say the shooting was not related to the school.
One parent says the school on West 25th Street was put on lockdown.
No one was injured, and no arrests have been made.
