Six teens wanted for robbing 14-year-old girl in Brownsville

The NYPD says two girls and four boys forcefully took the girl's backpack and sneakers on Nov. 26 at New Lots and Van Sinderen avenues.

Police are searching for six teens who they say robbed a 14-year-old girl in Brownsville.

The NYPD says two girls and four boys forcefully took the girl's backpack and sneakers on Nov. 26 at New Lots and Van Sinderen avenues.

The stolen items are estimated at about $900. Police say the girl was not injured during the robbery.

Police say the teens ran from the scene and are approximately 14 to 17 years old.

The NYPD asks anyone with information to call its Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
