Smoke scare forces passengers to evacuate F train at York Street station

According to the MTA, a northbound train was entering the York Street station at around 7 a.m. when the crew heard a loud noise and saw smoke.

Service is now back up and running on the F line in Brooklyn after massive delays, Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials say.
According to the MTA, a northbound train was entering the York Street station at around 7 a.m. when the crew heard a loud noise and saw smoke.
All passengers were evacuated from the train and no one was hurt.
The FDNY responded to the scene and is investigating what exactly happened.
