Second round of snow looms for Sunday in Brooklyn.

Neighbors in Norwood felt the first round of the weekend's winter weather on Saturday as a blend of rain and snow.
Residents also used the snow as the perfect excuse to head to the park, while the Department of Sanitation issued a snow alert for Jan. 18.
The Department of Sanitation said it began to salt the streets in the afternoon, and announced a snow alert for Sunday, starting at 4 a.m.
Neighbors inside Williamsbridge Oval Park were greeted with a winter wonderland as blankets of snow covered the grounds.
Families enjoyed the park's playground while others went for a run, and some were even kicking a soccer ball through the snow.
Jose Bravo said his son's soccer game was canceled because of the snow. He used the free time to spend the afternoon playing sports with him despite the wet conditions.
"You wouldn't think you would want to play soccer with this kind of weather, but it's perfect because, again, not a lot of distractions out here," he said.
The New York City Emergency Management has issued a travel advisory for Sunday Jan. 18. In a statement, Commissioner Zach Iscol said, “as the long holiday weekend continues, New Yorkers commuting or traveling this week should exercise caution, be aware and prepared for potential travel delays, and other impacts due to the incoming snow.”
Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced a Code Blue will be in effect citywide with teams canvassing homeless hotspots and transferring them to shelters. Anyone who sees someone in distress outside is asked to call 311, according to OEM.
