Authorities say some of the drugs seized in a massive drugs and weapons takedown in Suffolk County came from Brooklyn.
According to the Suffolk district attorney, the long-term investigation stretched from Montauk to Brooklyn and 30 people are now facing charges.
The attorney says fentanyl, cocaine, heroin and other drugs were seized along with multiple guns. Officials add one of those guns was fired at police while they tried to arrest a suspect.
More than a dozen police departments worked together in the takedown.
