A 70-year-old woman is in the hospital after allegedly being stabbed by her own son inside a Kensington home.
Officers arriving at 109 Dahill Road at around 4 a.m. Thursday say they were accosted by a man with a kitchen knife covered in blood.
The man was Tasered and taken into custody, and is now being treated at Lutheran Hospital for what are believed to be self-inflicted wounds to his wrists and neck.
Police say the man's elderly mother was found with stab and slash wounds all over her torso and neck. She was rushed to Methodist Hospital where she is listed in stable condition and expected to recover.
No charges have been filed at this time.
