The "Son of Sam" killer who terrorized New York City in the 1970s has been denied parole for a sixth time.
A parole board decided Tuesday that the release of David Berkowitz would undermine the respect of the law and would not be good for society. He was convicted of fatally shooting six people and injuring several others.
Berkowitz has been in prison for 35 years serving a 25-to-life sentence. His next parole hearing is in two years.
