Two vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection of Grand and East Carl avenues around 5:15 a.m., detectives say.
A 66-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. A 31-year-old female driver was taken to a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening.
Detectives request anyone with information on the crash to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.
