Police are investigating a shooting in East New York and sources say the victim is the father of a boy who has been missing for nearly two years.
Sources tell News 12 Brooklyn that the shooting victim was 29-year-old Patrick Alford Sr. His son, Patrick Alford, 9, disappeared from the Vandalia Avenue foster home he was staying in on Jan. 22, 2010.
Police say Alford Sr. is in critical condition in the hospital after being shot in the head.
Sources say the shooting may have been drug-related.
