After two years, the curtain is about to go up on the newly renovated South Shore Auditorium for the Brooklyn Theater Arts High School.
Students say the renovations were badly needed, with messed up curtains, lighting and poor acoustics.
The new theater features state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment, and students say the new equipment will better prepare them for working in the real world.
The students' first show in the new theater will be a rendition of "Footloose."
