A rising senior and basketball player at South Shore High School has made a commitment to play for the University of Connecticut.
Terrance Samuel, along with senior Shamiek Sheppherd, have led the school to back-to-back PSAL quarterfinal appearances.
The 6 foot 4 inch point guard chose the Huskies over the likes of Tennessee, Rhode Island, Pittsburgh, Dayton and Temple.
