Passengers on a Carnival Cruise Ship got a shocking surprise Thursday evening when they witnessed what appeared to be flaming stars streaking across the sky.

However, the objects were not celestial bodies, but rather parts of a SpaceX Starship that had broken up in the sky shortly after a test flight.

The dramatic incident was captured on video by multiple witnesses who posted footage of the Starship breaking apart on the coast of Turk and Caicos.

In the video, someone can be heard exclaiming, "It's the end of the world."

No injuries were reported, but flights in the area had to be diverted to avoid any debris from the broken starship.
