Kids in Sheepshead Bay celebrated the end of their school year with a fun-filled block party Thursday.
The party marked the end of summer term for students with special needs at the Connie Lekas School for District 75. There was dancing, a water slide and lots of food.
Students attend the school pretty much year-round to make sure they get all the help they need, but they do get a little summer break starting next week. They will return to school after Labor Day.
