The electricity went out at the Spring Creek Towers apartment complex on Tuesday, leaving hundreds of people without power.
Power outages are starting to become a common occurrence in the East New York development.
Residents say that the power has gone out three times this year.
Dozens of fire trucks and police responded to the outage, making sure that everyone was safely inside all 46 buildings.
It is still not clear what caused the outage. Some buildings have their power back, but it is not yet fully restored.
