The St. Raymond boys basketball team advanced to 6-0 with a win against Paterson Catholic in the Hoop Group Tip-Off Classic.
The teams took to the hardwood over the weekend at Seton Hall University's Walsh Gymnasium.St. Ray Raven Darryl Bryant was the MVP with 22 points, which he scored in front of his future college coach, West Virginia University's Bob Huggins.
Bryant's shooting helped propel the team to an 82-70 victory, keeping the Ravens' perfect regular season intact. The team is ranked fifth in a recent New York City high school hoops poll.
