Turn up the lights, Billy Joel fans - a new single from the Piano Man is set to arrive early next month.

The song will be Joel's first new single in close to two decades and accompanied by a lyric video on his official YouTube channel.

"Turn the Lights Back On," has been described as a "classic Billy Joel-style tune, embodying the hallmarks of his signature sound and ushering in the next chapter of his story."

Billy Joel's illustrious catalog and award-winning songs have spanned over six decades, making him one of the most influential performers of all time. 

 In the lyrics of the song, he asks his listeners, "Did I wait too long… to turn the lights back on?"
