Officials are urging New Yorkers to carefully consider their Thanksgiving plans as local positivity rates continue.

The issue city and state officials are focusing on is targeting neighborhoods seeing an increase in positive infection cases.

Data released on the city's website shows where the virus is more prevalent. In the Bronx zip code 10452, the Concourse and Highbridge neighborhoods, is at 6.37 % in the last seven days. News 12 is told 121 COVID-19 cases have been reported.

Morris Heights, University Heights and Mount Hope zip code 10453 is at 5.2%.

As an entire borough, the Bronx is at 3.36 % while Brooklyn is at 2.35 %. With these numbers is how officials determine what zones neighborhoods are placed under, and that's when we start seeing stricter restrictions and places are forced to shut down.
