Thursday night's storm downed trees across the borough, including one in Flatlands that crashed on a Mazda sportscar.

The large tree crashed down on several cars on Kimball Street Thursday night, causing extensive damage to the blue Mazda.

"I don't know what to think. I don't know what to do. These are the kinds of things you see on TV," says the car's owner.

Residents on the street say they have noticed the tree was not standing straight for months and had even been recently reported it on Tuesday.

The tree was completely uprooted from its base.

News 12 was told the tree would be removed by the end of the day.
