News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says there will be an early morning shower before a sunny Saturday.
TROPICAL STORM FRANKLIN is expected to intensify to at least a Category 2 Hurricane by Monday. This will brush up along Bermuda before whipping into the North Atlantic by Wednesday. Swells will reach NYC area beaches by Wednesday and last through the weekend making for possible dangerous swimming conditions for the Labor Day weekend. This should be monitored and the forecast followed on air.

TONIGHT: A pop-up shower early, then partly cloudy. Lows down to 70 and staying humid.
SATURDAY: Early morning shower, then quickly becoming mostly sunny, hot & humid. Highs spike to 87. Lows down to 65.
SUNDAY: Less sunshine but still nice and less humid. Highs around 79. Lows down to 64.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy and comfortable. Highs near 76. Lows near 65.
TUESDAY: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers/storms. Highs near 75. Lows around 67.
