There are two weeks until the official start of spring but spring like temperatures will be arriving this weekend. 50s and 60s will be here by the time we work our way to the second half of the weekend. The clouds and fog are not done with us yet! Low visibility will hang on for most of the weekend, worsening during thicker fog and showers. Showers and thundershowers march through during the late evening and early overnight for Saturday. Timing to see rain and possible thunderstorms is between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. Within this there could be heavy rainfall leading to difficult travel conditions. This could continue into earliest parts of Sunday, then clear out. Temperatures will warm up but it will be a largely cloudy day with some limited sunshine.
Sunday marks the time change! Another spring milestone we will be achieving. Clocks spring forward at 2 am bumping our sunrises and sunsets forward an hour. Check your clocks and this is a good time to change smoke detector batteries.
