Cold weather and gusty winds into your weekend. Tracking a potential storm on Monday. Right now, a storm will impact the mid-Atlantic on Monday and the question for Long island will be how far north does the storm track. We are on the northern edge of the storm, for now be prepared for an inch or so of snow. If the storm tracks north we could see more than three inches.
TODAY: Partly sunny, breezy and cold. Flurries with a high near 39. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. West wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 36. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 25 mph.
Saturday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 23. West wind 14 to 16 mph.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 23.
Monday: STORM WATCH - Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. Depending on track, little to no accumulation or 3 plus inches. Stay tuned.
Monday Night: A 40% chance of snow before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 33.
