The best chance for heavy rain will be during the morning between 6 and 9 a.m. and in the afternoon, between 12 and 5 p.m. Some breaks in the rain are also expected, especially late morning and after p.m. There is a moderate risk of flooding for New York City. Scattered flash flooding possible. Exactly where that highest threat sets up is still to be determined. About 1 to 1.5 inches of rain is expected, with a potential for more if the bands set up over New York City. Temperatures hover around 80. Rain ends by sunset. Lows down to 75.
