News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says Long Island will see a very warm and humid Wednesday with chances for pop-up showers or storms.
HEADLINES:
- A heat advisory is in effect for the North Shore of Nassau County with feels-like temperatures in the 90s to near 100 degrees.
- Keep an eye to the sky for a pop-up shower or storm but most of the day will be sunny and dry.
- Cooler weather follows for Thursday and Friday with highs in the 70s. It will be dry with sun and clouds.
- Labor Day weekend starts with a storm threat late Saturday followed by drier weather Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will be seasonable with cooler weather to kick off back to school.
