On-and-off rain this afternoon; parts of northwest NJ likely to see some snow Friday

Much of this afternoon will be showery with gusty winds up to 30 mph. Southern New Jersey will remain dry.
Much colder air will move in from the north tonight and Friday. Wet snow may fly at this time, especially over the hills of Northwestern New Jersey. Showers are expected elsewhere.
There will be a break in the precipitation Friday morning with more rain and snow showers likely developing during the afternoon.
TODAY: Morning rain tapers off. Another round of light rain and wet snow well north and west is possible by evening. High: 51.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy, windy and cold with areas of rain and wet snow possible north and west. High: 43.
SATURDAY: Sun and clouds. Windy and chilly. High: 49.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny, windy and chilly. High: 51.
MONDAY: Partly sunny. High: 54.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny. High: 57.
