FORECAST

Tonight is comfortable and even "window opening weather." Overnight temperatures are in the 60s with a calm wind and less humidity.

Twinning on Monday

Monday will feature plenty of sunshine in the forecast, with temperatures in the mid-80s and low humidity. There could be a few more clouds on Monday, but they'll be thin so the sun will still shine through. The wind will pick up for Atlantic facing beaches in the afternoon from the East-Southeast at 10 to 20 mph which will cool things for people heading to the ocean facing beaches.

Potential Heat Wave: Tuesday - Friday

Heat and humidity is back on Tuesday and it will linger through at least Friday. Rain is not expected until Friday afternoon and the chance for rain on Friday will be in the form of pop-up storms.

Close call next weekend

The borough is on the edge of a gloomy and cooler storm system to the north and major heat to the south. It's too early to make a call as of Saturday evening about the weather for next weekend. Check back with the News 12 Storm Watch Team for continuing updates.
