Assault trial postponed for Bronx rapper Remy Ma

Bronx rapper Remy Ma, accused of assaulting fellow rapper and reality TV star Brittany Taylor, agreed to postpone her trial during an appearance in court Friday.
Remy Ma and her lawyer were seeking an outright dismissal in the Manhattan courtroom. Her next court date will be Sept. 26.
In the meantime, the district attorney is planning to keep investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault.
Taylor posted a video on social media back in May showing what she alleges is a black eye from the assault that supposedly happened at an April 16 concert in Manhattan.
Remy Ma was charged with two counts of assault and harassment after she turned herself in to police on May 1.
