Bar owners are calling on the state and city to allow them to offer indoor dining.
Celene Rosado is just one of many local restaurant owners calling on the governor and the mayor to start allowing indoor dining in the city. She owns Sweet Brooklyn Bar in Crown Heights and says she believes bars and restaurants in the area are being treated unfairly.
Roasado says the city needs to be helping small businesses, not hurting them.
Meanwhile, during a phone conference on Monday, the governor talked about the need to enforce bar and restaurant regulations and adding that local governments need to do a better job on compliance.
However Rosado says it all comes back to needing more aid to survive.
She says she's especially concerned about what will happen when the weather starts cooling down. She's afraid restaurants like hers won't survive.
News 12 reached out to the governor and mayor's office for comment.
