The town of Stratford is set to host its annual Latin Music Festival on Sunday.

The Stratford Hispanic Heritage Committee hosts the event. The committee has held a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration for 17 years.

The event will be held at Paradise Green from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Yeah. Yeah, cold air is with us now, it wasn't until too bad. If you think back to the weekend, numbers are well into the fifties while we're on the downswing of things. We're chillier than average tapping out into the lower forties and we're gonna lose that sunshine. A lot more cloud cover is gonna be in the picture as we work our way through the rest of today. Tonight, we're looking at lows down into the twenties 27 for Cornwall Warren, as well as Watertown. We're at the freezing market. Air is out to Bridgeport and you're looking at 30 for those here in Norwalk. Now, it's only gonna be chillier for the start of your tomorrow. But let's work our way through today. We're still gonna work with a good deal of sunshine. Mostly clear skies on the wake up. Here's a look at your seven o'clock, you're stepping out the door, do make sure you got the jacket. Certainly. If you're waiting for some public transportation now, as we look ahead into this afternoon, notice more clouds filling in, losing that sunshine is gonna hurt those temperatures. So, yeah, we're gonna stay a little bit chillier than what we should be for this time of year by several degrees heading into here tonight, as well as your tomorrow morning. We're just growing into some colder air. Notice clouds still hanging around and we won't rule out maybe a passing flake or two. Certainly as we had here tomorrow afternoon, you're noticing for spots back out across the west looking in and around lower Hudson Valley spots like Westchester County. So if your travels or your commute for your tomorrow afternoon are going to lead you through that area. Do keep that in mind. You could see a quick light snow shower or two quiet for your Wednesday night, but notice it's gonna drop off colder Thursday morning. You're stepping out into some 20 degree weather for a lot of us. Certainly with a little bit of some wind holding on, it's certainly gonna be the coldest start. It's gonna be a cold Hanukkah. As we look ahead into the tail end of the week, we rebound nicely heading into the weekend. Numbers back into the upper fifties. We're watching Sunday as we can see some heavy rain and some strong winds. Uh, so it's still a couple of days out, but we'll continue to keep an eye on that.

Stratford set to host annual Latin Music Festival this weekend

Well, the town of Stratford is taking time to recognize the many cultural contributions of hispanic americans. The town's annual latin music festival will take place sunday from 12 to 6 A paradise screen. The Stratford Hispanic Heritage Committee hosts the event. The committee has held a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration for 17 years. This year's theme is unidos unidos, which means united. So that has always been our goal to unite spanish speaking people well, nothing better than uniting with a pina colada, especially because part of the proceeds from the sale of that cocktail of the day will go to the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund.
