News 12 obtained an email sent out by Fordham University to students on Sept. 10, warning them about an uptick in a citywide robbery trend.
The email warns students that criminals are getting away with purses, necklaces, phones and other belongings. It also said university students have reported being targets of these types of crimes in the Belmont community.
