A pro-Palestinian rally took place Thursday afternoon outside Brooklyn College.

The event was backed by a group called Students for Justice in Palestine. Students were seen holding Palestinian flags and chanting "Free Palestine" as they denounced what they say is a humanitarian crisis since Israel cut basic supplies to Gaza since the attacks.

The students also demanded the liberation of Palestine from Israel occupation.

Pro-Israel counterprotesters were also present and denounced Hamas and the attacks on Israel.
