A new report says that by 2030, 42 percent of American adults will be obese - 25 percent of whom will be severely obese.
The American Journal of Preventive Medicine study says obesity is costing the government more money in health care funding than tobacco.
Obesity-related ailments such diabetes and heart disease consume at least 9 percent of health care spending in the United States.
