A subway conductor was attacked while working inside a subway station in Cypress Hills last Wednesday, according to police.
Investigators say the suspect was apparently upset because the conductor had skipped his stop.
Police say the suspect had just entered the Grant Avenue subway station and the conductor was checking the train and platform for passengers. The suspect came up to the conductor, punching him multiple times on the left side of the face.
Police say the suspect then said, "That's what you get for skipping my stop."
The 33-year-old conductor was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
