Construction is underway in Wakefield on the above-ground 2 train tracks along White Plains Road between the 225th and 233rd street stations.
The project will impact parking in the area and prompt street closures until it wraps up around June 14, NYC Transit says.
Due to the need for a crane to complete the work, parking is not going to be allowed on either side of White Plains Road, between 228th and 230th streets. Other road closures are expected to accommodate the crane.
